Flouride in the water. Most Dentist and the majority of Surgeon General's approve of this this. When we are at the Dentist we are asked to spit it out. We are also asked not to swallow our toothpaste. Either way, Flouride is good. What do you think?

The Importance of A Smile

At $5 Dollar Dental Copay we believe your smile is worth more than you know. It makes an impact. It changes the environment. It can even bring wealth, and here are 7 reasons why.
1. Smiling can make you happy (even when you're not). smiling sends a message to your brain that you're happy. And when you're happy, your body pumps out all kinds of feel-good endorphins.
2. Smiling can make others happy. Studies show that something as simple as seeing a friend smile can activate the muscles in your face to make that same expression, without you even being aware that you are doing it.#awesome.
3. Smiling makes you more attractive. Because people usually look their best—and happiest—when smiling. According to the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. This information was news to me because smiling can sometimes feel 'silly' , but the simple fact that your making someones day and looking cute makes it all worth it.
4. Smiling can help you de-stress.
5. Smiling can help you land a job. When observers saw the photos of smiling people, they were more likely to think that the person in the photo was likable, confident, conscientious and stable. Sound like traits most companies want in an employee, right? So the next time you're dressing to impress, make sure to take that beautiful, natural smile with you!
6. Smiling can lead to laughter.
7. Smiling just feels good.

So take care of your smile with us at $5Dollar Copay and one of our many providers in Texas, California and Florida. We can walk you though a great plan that will save you thousands in dental care. $5 Extractions, Office Visit & Second Opinion. $245 Crowns + Lab. $250 Veneers, and $110 Deep Cleaning – (Per Quadrant) Check us out at 1.866.825.4287.
We love to hear from you.

The Importance of Social Customer Service

Like us at National Association For Medical and Dental, Inc.

In route to the office this morning I thought this a great idea for our blog. Customer service. Every morning we have a sales team meeting emphasizing the importance of taking and making those calls to you our customers and interested customers, and the team eats it up. The meeting's are great because Sarah E. the sales team manager stresses the positive and leads a supportive ear for our sales reps, which in turn encourages them and all around makes your call in experience a pleasant one.
I value the importance of customer service. I refer my friends and acquaintances to a great customer experience and product. I will drive for miles for a great customer experience.

"People that have a positive experience with a company's customer service department will likely tell two or three others about their experience, according to Consumer Affairs website. Therefore, quality customer service can be a source of promotion for organizations. Contrarily, a person who has a bad customer service experience will likely tell between nine and 20 people." - chron.com

It would be our honor if you called for a list of providers in your area. 1-866-824-7896.
We are happy to help. After all, we have the best dental plan in California, Texas and Florida.

Good Dental Health Is In Style

Cosmetic Dentistry:
Have you noticed the 'fame ' dentists are getting lately. It's cool to go to the dentist, definatly for a whitening, but having a nice smile is a fashion statement.

1-800-DENTIST®, the dental profession’s largest patient lead-generation company, made a special “guest appearance” on the August 21 and 28 episodes of HBO’s Emmy®-nominated TV series, True Blood.
1-800-DENTIST® provided True Blood with an exhibit booth for a scene taking place at the Festival of Tolerance rally for vampire rights, as well as a variety of signs offering vampires services like “fang whitening” and “discounts for vampires over 1,000 years old.”
also added “Supplying True Blood with props was a blast,” said 1-800-DENTIST® founder Fred Joyal. “We were very excited to have the opportunity to be part of such a hugely popular HBO series. It shows that 1-800-DENTIST® isn’t afraid to think outside of the box, or in this case ‘coffin,’ to spread our message of good oral health for everyone, even the undead.”
If you've gone to the movies lately, you'll notice a trend there too. One of Django's main character's was a dentist, just to show how fiercly important your dental hygenine is.
Our point being please do your self and your smile a favor. Be current, above average, take care of your dental health. Call for a list of providers in your area! 866-824-7896.

Family, Health and the National Need for Oral Care

My family left town for my Grandmother's Funeral this past week and it left me thinking of the importance of health care. If your anything like me, which I'm sure your not because we are all original, you understand the importance of health care, but didn't understand just how important our oral health is.
I took this from my personal favorite for healthy information,
US Department of Health and Human Services. Oral Health in America: A Report of the Surgeon General-- Executive Summary . Rockville, MD: US Department of Health and Human Services, National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research, National Institutes of Health, 2000. The terms oral health and general health should not be interpreted as separate entities. Oral health is integral to general health;
However, not everyone is experiencing the same degree of improvement. This Surgeon Generals report addresses the inequities and disparities that affect those least able to muster the resources to achieve optimal oral health. For whatever the reason, ignoring oral health problems can lead to needless pain and suffering, causing devastating complications to an individuals well-being, with financial and social costs that significantly diminish quality of life and burden American society.

That's where we at NAFMD come in.
